Main Street Manager
The Borough of Hollidaysburg, in conjunction with the Hollidaysburg Community Partnership, a non-profit Main Street Program organization that assists in the economic development of Hollidaysburg Borough, is accepting resumes for a Main Street Manager. Manager will be responsible for planning, promotion and implementation of various community events and programs that promote the Hollidaysburg business district and community.
Applicant should be highly organized, exhibit leadership qualities, be comfortable speaking in public, and have the ability to work with a variety of local businesses, public officials and volunteers. Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills are a must and experience identifying/writing grant applications is desirable. Web page experience is a strong plus.
Main Street Manger reports to the Borough Manager and a board of directors elected by the business community. This position is considered a Department Head in the Hollidaysburg Borough Organizational Structure. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public administration or related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Similar program management experience desired. Salary DOQ with excellent benefit package. Deadline February 2, 2018 EOE
