Chief Advancement Officer:
Responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive institutional advancement strategy designed to enhance the image of the College in the community, foster college-community partnerships and ensure a strong base of ongoing financial support for the College. Responsibilities include community relation building, fundraising, Public Relations, Advancement, Governmental Affairs oversight, and Grants development. In conjunction with the President, the CAO acts as a College spokesperson and an ambassador to the community, promoting a positive college image, productive relationships and strong partnerships. As a member of the President’s Cabinet,
the CAO participates in strategic planning, policy formulation and problem solving, and offers advice and counsel on implications of institutional decisions. Required: Master’s Degree in higher education administration, management, business, communication or related field; At least 5 years progressively responsible supervisory experience, preferably in higher education. Technical Specialist applied Learning And Internships:
2-year grant-funded position reporting to AVP of Instruction; dotted line to AVP of Student Affairs. Collaborates w/Career Service Office & Student Life on applied learning & internship promotion, monitoring & assessment; provides critical administrative, programmatic & analytic support for applied learning and internship initiatives. Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 2 years professional work in a college setting, preferably in a community college. Experience in career, internships, applied learning and/or volunteer settings preferred.
